Although we LOVED our time at this faire in 2004, it conflicted with our haunted house, so we didn't attend in 2005. However, the Arts Council begged us so much to come back in 2006...how could we say no? So, we cancelled the haunted house, lined up volunteers, and got everything ready to go. And then, on the morning we were due to leave, it turned out that only three of our volunteers would be able to make it for set-up, with two others joining us once the faire began on Saturday morning. Oh dear. Fortunately, Matt had a friend, Kelly, in Las Cruces who agreed to help us - and what a GREYT help she was! She worked with us all weekend, helping set up the encampment, feed the dogs, promote during the day, walk in the parades, assist in the hunting demo, etc. Fantastic!

Despite our short staff, things went wonderfully, the dogs were very well-received (again), many brochures were taken, and lots of donations were collected for distribution to adoption agencies. Huzzah!
